GARY PUCKETT has performed on more than thirty network television shows and prime time specials during his career, even adding a command performance for the President and Prince Charles at the White House. The Union Gap disbanded in the seventies. In 1974, “Young Girl” was reissued in England where it received a silver record award for attaining a top five position on the pop charts, several years after its initial release.

Decades later, Puckett, 76, continues to share those songs and music memories with fans as he travels the U.S. and beyond with a tour schedule that could match the pace of most young rock stars.

Puckett never anticipated the longevity of his music or performance career. “The fact that the people continue to love these songs all these years later, is a bit amazing to me because 50 years ago, I never would have thought that I’d even be this age, let alone be doing it at this age,” says Puckett.
